Delbert and Marie Shepard of Parkersburg celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with their family Sept. 3.
They were married Sept. 3, 1946, in south Parkersburg by the Rev. H.L. Short.
He is the son of the late Orel and Oma Shepard. He was employed by the Viscose for 35 years and retired from Borg Warner chemicals.

She is the daughter of the late Spencer Adams and Nellie Adams Shepard. She retired from Fenton Art Glass.
They are the parents of one daughter, Janet (Roger) Kerr of Rockport.
They have three grandchildren, Scott Kerr of Washington, W.Va., Amanda Windland of Williamstown and Jessica Lawrence of Carmicheals, Pa.
