Joan A. and William M. Winderweedle of Parkersburg celebrated their 60th anniversary on Aug. 26-27 at Stonewall Jackson State Park.
They were married in 1951 at the Park Avenue Presbyterian Church in Bloomfield, N.J., by the Rev. Dr. Munchheimer.
He is the son of the late William M. Winderweedle and Pearl Smith Winderweedle. He was stationed at Hickam A.F. Base on Oahu, Hawaii for three years. He retired from Wirt Metals in Elizabeth.
She is the daughter of the late Mary Emma Bowker Cowan and John Cowan. She is a homemaker.
They are the parents of Alan (Donna), Jane (the late Vincent) and Linda (Eric and the late Thomas). They are the grandparents of Jessica, Lauren, Bill, Sabrina and Tyler and Corbin.
They are the step-grandparents of Bridget, Amanda and Lydia. They are the great-grandparents of Allania, Bella and Emma Bonolis.
