Donnie and Sue McCloy of Parkersburg celebrated their 50th anniversary Aug. 27.
He worked in various jobs in the Pennsboro area and then at DuPont, where he retired from in 2000. She worked in the Pennsboro area and went back to school to get a beautician certificate, opening her own salon in Parkersburg.
They have two children, Patricia and Melissa.
They are members of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Parkersburg.
