Joseph and Mary Agnes Wesel Augenstein will celebrate their 50th anniversary Aug. 5.
They were married at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Marietta by Monsignor Edwin F. Murphy.
She is the daughter of the late William F. and Genevieve C. Wesel. He is the son of the late Joseph E. and Ethel M. Augenstein.

They are the parents of Teresa (Tom) Hushion, Anna (Kerry) Manion, Mary (Scott) LaBarre, Mark (Erin) Augenstein and Elizabeth (Dave) Jung. They are the grandparents of Katie and Christian Hushion, Hannah and Nathan Manion, Meaghan and Matthew LaBarre, Nora and Josie Augenstein and Lucy, Molly and Nina Jung.
They will be renewing their vows during a celebration Mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Aug. 7. Their children will hold a reception from noon to 2 p.m. Aug 17 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Marietta.
