Jessica Lea Laughery and Joseph Timothy Wood were united in marriage during a double-ring ceremony on July 9 at Blennerhassett Hotel by Pastor Tim Burch.
The bride is the daughter of Dave and Jenny Laughery of Parkersburg. She is a 2005 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.
She teaches first grade at Maria Sanchez Elementary School in Hartford, Conn.

A reception in the Charleston Ballroom at the Blennerhassett Hotel immediately followed the ceremony.
After a honeymoon cruise around the Mediterranean, they reside in West Hartford, Conn.
