Wanda I. Dudley and Elijah "Everett" Schmidt are celebrating their 65th anniversary.
They were married June 29, 1946.
He is the son of the late William H. and Anna L. Haught Schmidt.

The couple have five children, Shirley (Bob) Hoffman, Nancy (Stephen) Beck, Connie (Larry) Matthews, Marie (Joseph) Gerken and Jerry (Heather) Schmidt. They have 11 grandchildren, Kandy (Kevin) Chandler, Brian Cooper, Nathan Cooper, Michael Cooper, Bob Enochs, Adam (Stacy) Enochs, Seth (Colleen) Matthews, Jody (Mike) Briggs, Kelly (Eric) Kent, Andrew Schmidt and Noah Schmidt.
They have two stepgrandchildren, Travis and Vanessa Hoffman, several great-grandchldren and two great-great grandchildren.
