The bride-to-be is the daughter of Beatrice Murphy and Donald Price of New Martinsville, and the late John Murphy. She is the granddaughter of the late Marvelene "Peg" Lancaster, the late Melbert Earley, the late Marcella "Posey" Glessner, the late Everet Murphy and Barb Morris.
She is a 2005 graduate of Frontier High School and received an associate's degree from Washington State Community College in 2009.

She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in elementary education at West Virginia University at Parkersburg and is set to graduate in December.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Tammy and Carl McClung of Walker.
He is the grandson of Debbie and David Day, Pat Powers and Lloyd and Mattie McClung.
He is a 2004 graduate of Parkersburg High School and is a technician at McClinton Chevrolet in Parkersburg.
A wedding is planned for July 16 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Parkersburg with a reception to follow at the Nemesis Shrine Center.
The couple will reside in Parkersburg.
