Jill Renee Edgar and Seth Lee Sims, both of Parkersburg, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Scott Wilson Edgar of St. Marys and Barbara Jean Edgar of Belmont.
She is the granddaughter of William and Wanda Hammett of Belmont, and Pete Edgar and the late Jackie Edgar of Newport, Ohio. She is a 2008 graduate of St. Marys High School and is attending West Virginia University at Parkersburg. She is employed by Camden Clark Medical Center.

The prospective bridegroom is the son of Herbert G. and Sandra Kay Sims of Parkersburg. He is the grandson of the late Herbert L. and Geraldine V. Sims of Washington, W.Va., and the late Jess W. and Ora Mae Starcher of Parkersburg. He is a 2009 graduate of St. Marys High School and is attending West Virginia University at Parkersburg. He is employed by Kohls.
A wedding is planned for June 11.
