Gary and Sue Denning celebrated their 50th anniversary on April 29.
The couple were married in Parkersburg in 1961 by the late Rev. Raymond Deem.
He is retired from GE Plastics and she is a retired United Methodist minister.

They have three daughters, Melanie Denning; Melissa Tornabene and her husband, Guy; and Jeanette Starkey and her husband, Eric, all of Parkersburg. They have one grandson, Anthony Tornabene.
A family dinner party was held in their honor on April 23 at the Blennerhassett Hotel.
