Randall and Shirley Smith will celebrate their 50th anniversary on April 15.
They were married at the Seventh Street United Methodist Church, formerly the Seventh Street E.U.B. Church in Parkersburg by the Rev. James H. Reed.
He is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. Blaine Smith. He retired from G.E. Plastics in 1999 with 33 years of service.
She is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Wilson. She is employed by the Wood County Board of Education as a secretary at Fairplains Elementary School.
The couple have three children, Shelly (Kevin) Wood of Williamstown, Cathy (Keith) Morris and Randy (Stacy) Smith of Parkersburg. They have seven grandchildren, Laura and Adam Wood, Rachel, Allison and Benjamin Morris, Ellie Dario and Gracie Smith.
An open house celebration will be held from 2-4 p.m. Saturday in the fellowship hall at the Seventh Street United Methodist Church in Parkersburg. No gifts, but cards would be appreciated and can be mailed to: 606 Eastlawn Ave., Parkersburg, WV, 26101.
