Keith and Glada Powers celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary April 8. They were united in marriage in 1961 by the Rev. Ralph Lamb at First Baptist Church in Parkersburg.
He is the son of the late Hoyt and Pauline Powers, and she is the daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys Hopkins.
The couple has two daughters, Pam McClain and her husband, Steve, of Parkersburg and Jan Corrothers and her husband, Earl, of Independence, Ky. They have one granddaughter, Merideth McClain.

Mr. Powers was employed by Park Press and Richardson Printing. Mrs. Powers was employed as a legal secretary and by Monongahela Power Company.
They were honored by their family with a dinner at the Blennerhassett Hotel.
