Anna Halley Zivkovich and Michael Colin Rymer were united in marriage on Sept. 18, 2010, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Parkersburg. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Larry Jackson and the Rev. Jack Neilson.
The bride is the daughter of Mary Jane and George Zivkovich of Parkersburg. She is the granddaughter of Llada Flesher, Parkersburg, the late Keith Flesher, and the late Pearl and Eli Zivkovich.
She is a 1999 graduate of Parkersburg High School, a 2003 graduate of Denison University and a 2007 graduate of West Virginia University School of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine residency at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, Ohio, and is a fellow in hospice and palliative medicine at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton.

The groom is the son of Susan and Steve Rymer of Xenia, Ohio. He is the grandson of Mary and James Saunders, Ravenswood, and the late Ruth Rymer and Ralph Rymer. He is a 1999 graduate of Miami Valley School in Dayton, completed studies at the University of Dayton, and is a 2007 graduate of West Virginia University School of Medicine. He is a plastics and reconstructive surgery resident at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
Escorted to the altar by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless ivory piera twill gown with a draped bust and sweetheart neckline. A deep V formed the back of her gown, which was lined in covered buttons to the banded hem of the train. The cascading cathedral-length veil was edged in ivory satin, and the bride wore a crystal and pearl triple strand necklace with matching teardrop earrings. She carried a bouquet of hydrangeas and roses in shades of ivory and sage green. Serving as matron of honor was Kate Corder Bringardner of Gainesville, Fla., and serving as maid of honor was Jennifer Ellison of Madison, Wis., longtime friends of the bride. They were attired in matching black satin strapless tea-length gowns and wore pearl necklaces and earrings gifted to them by the bride.
The groom was attended by best man Lt. Ian Rymer of Bethesda, Md., brother of the groom; Evan Hattan of Oklahoma City, Okla., Martijn Geiskes of New York City and Ross Cunningham of Dayton, all longtime friends of the groom. Serving as ushers were cousins of the bride, Karl Thomas Flesher and Christopher Flesher, both of Tallahassee, Fla., and Gregory Zivkovich of New Wilmington, Pa.
Presiding over the guest registry was Fiona Powderly of Parkersburg, longtime friend of the bride. Scripture readings were done by longtime friend of the bride, Elizabeth Sudduth of Bluefield and Jennifer Ellison. Wedding music was provided by pianist and organist Marie Mallory. Immediately after the ceremony, a cocktail hour, dinner and dancingwere held at The Blennerhassett. After a honeymoon in Paris, the couple resides in Beavercreek, Ohio.
