Brandon Schwendeman and Jamie Kirk were married July 31, 2010, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marietta. Monsignor Michael Campbell officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of James and Debra Kirk of Van Buren, Ark., and the granddaughter of Ralph and Lois Behner and Kathy Kirk of Marion, Ohio. She is a graduate of Hilliard High School and is employed by Pet Brand.
The groom is the son of Kevin and Cynthia Schwendeman of Lowell. He is the grandson of Jerry and Mildred Schwendeman of Lowell, Patricia Omspach and the late William Omspach of Leesburg, Fla. He is a graduate of Marietta High School and Ohio University, majoring in environmental health science. He is employed by the Ohio EPA.

The maid of honor was Jeri Hulet, sister of the bride, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio. Bridesmaids were Jacalyn Gonat of Marysville, Ohio and Jennifer Willford of Canal Winchester, Ohio, sisters of the bride; Mindy Bisesi of Dublin, Ohio, friend of the bride; and Ryann Jewet of Columbus, sister of the groom. Flower girls were Madelyn Gonat and Peyton Willford, nieces of the bride.
The best man was T.J. Zakowski, of Norfolk, Va., friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Robert Knotts, of Marietta, friend of the groom; Chris Moore, of Canal Winchester, friend of the groom; Nick Huffman, of Belpre, friend of the groom; and Doug Hall, of Marietta, friend of the groom. Ushers were Jesse Schwendeman of Bonita Springs, Fla., and Chris Palmer of Marietta, cousins of the groom. Ring bearer was Alexander Gonat, nephew of the bride.
Registering guests was Alexandra Moses, of Parkersburg, cousin of the groom.
A dinner and dance reception followed at the Marietta Shrine Club.
After a honeymoon to the Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Galloway, Ohio.
