Lisa D. Ferguson and Matthew W. Knotts were united in marriage on Oct. 23, 2010, in an outdoor ceremony at the Vienna home of the groom's parents. Pastor Scott Baker of New Life Lutheran Church, Gallipolis, Ohio, officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Raymond and Dottie Ferguson of Huntington.
She is the granddaughter of Chester Ross and the late Pauline Ross of Huntington, and Juanita Ferguson and the late John Ferguson, also of Huntington. She graduated from Buffalo High School and Marshall University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She is employed with Wayne County Schools.

The groom is the son of Michael and Jenny Knotts. He is the grandson of Wayne and Jackie Longmire of Vienna and the late Cline and Janet Knotts of Vienna. He graduated from Parkersburg High School and attended Marshall University.
He is employed in sales.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted down the aisle by her father. She wore an ivory halter style gown that was embellished with a rhinestone buckled belt.
She carried a bouquet of colorful fall flowers. Matron of honor was friend of the bride and sister of the groom, Katherine Knotts Bills of Huntington.
Best man was father of the groom, Michael W. Knotts.
A fall themed outdoor reception was held.
After a honeymoon to Cancun Mexico, the couple reside in Huntington.
