Waugaman - Greathouse

Amanda Jean Waugaman and Matthew David Greathouse were united in marriage on Aug. 6, 2010, at the Shrine Club in Marietta The outdoor ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Roger Vernick of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Parkersburg.

The bride is the daughter of Jack and Trudi Waugaman of Washington. She is the granddaughter of Shirley Ledford and the late Lewis Ledford, and Jack Sr. and Norma Waugaman, all of Pittsburgh, Pa. The groom is the son of David and Laura Greathouse of Lubeck, the grandson of Tom and Lucille McCauley of Parkersburg and the late Frank and Joan Greathouse.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and was escorted by her father. She wore a white, strapless, full length satin gown with a rouched, crystal embroidered bodice and a full pick up skirt with a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of fuchsia and white roses and orange gerber daisies.

The maid of honor was Whitney Gill, friend of the bride, of Parkersburg. Bridesmaids were Ramsey Warwick, friend of the bride; Tanya Englehardt, friend of the bride; and Melissa Dean, sister of the groom. The bridesmaids wore tea-length spaghetti strapped fuchsia dresses with orange trim and carried bouquets of fuchsia roses and orange gerber daisies.

The flower girl was Jocelyn Rings, and the ring bearer was Connor Rings, both friends of the bride and groom.

The groom wore a black tux with white tie and vest and orange pocket square. Serving as best man was friend of the groom Steve Rhodes.

Groomsmen were Mason Greathouse, brother of the groom; Sam Waugaman, brother of the bride; and Charles "Brew" Dean, brother-in-law of the groom. The groomsmen wore black tuxes with orange vests, ties and pocket squares.

Serving as usher was Josh Curry, friend of the groom.

Nicole Keller and Michelle Gwinn, friends of the bride, registered guests and passed out programs.

Jake Dennis, friend of the groom, and Darren Greathouse, uncle of the groom, provided the music by singing and playing guitar.

The couple resides in Parkersburg.
