Holdren - Hogan

Hollie Ann Holdren and Andrew Ryan Hogan were united in marriage on July 31, 2010, at the Washington United Methodist Church in Washington, W.Va. Rev. Dan A. Hogan, father of the groom, officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Kim and Joe Holdren of Hope Mills, N.C. She is a 2004 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and is a 2009 graduate of Marshall University with a degree in English education. She is employed in Roanoke,Va., as a sixth-grade teacher.

The groom is the son of Dan and Nelda Hogan of Hurricane. He is a 2004 graduate of Hurricane High School and is a 2009 graduate of Marshall University with an MBA degree. He is employed by the federal government in Roanoke.

Attending the bride was maid of honor Amber (Tyree) Shears. Brides maids were Allison Hagar, cousin of the bride; Amy Snodgrass, Joy Callaway, Courtney Joyce and Alicia (Runion) Davis.

The groom's brother, Jonathan Hogan of Pensacola, Fla., was best man. Groomsmen were Garrett Dilley, Paul Shawler, Timothy Wilburn, Matthew Martindale and Jack Wu.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the DuPont Employee Recreational Club. After a honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple resides in Roanoke.
