The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. She wore a strapless A-line all-over lace gown with corded lace depicting five-petal flowers and oak leaves. Pearls and sequins accented the lace motif.

The bride's look was adorned with a white sash and crystal-studded flower brooch. Her look was completed with a flower-motif headband, necklace, earrings and a cathedral length veil. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of purple and white flowers including dendrobium orchid, button mums, freesia and lisianthus.

The bride's sister, Susan Hutzler, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Marisa Carr and Meghan Ward, lifelong friends of the bride. All wore full-length deep purple gowns of different styles. The attendants also carried hand-tied bouquets similiar to that of the bride.

Groomsmen were Andrew Ashley and Jason Spencer, friends of the groom. The groom's brother, Erik Smith, served as best man. The men wore black tuxedos with purple ties and vests.

Guests were greeted by Sarah McLaughlin and Leah Glascow; ushers were Josh Hall, Pastor Greg Shipe and Cody McPherson, all friends of the couple.

Vocal selections for the ceremony were performed by Dr. David Fore of Morgantown and Pastor Marty and Tammy Fullerton of Belpre, all friends of the bride and groom. Piano selections were provided by Kimberly Rackley, friend of the bride. The bride's pastor, Joe Ward, serving as a military chaplain in Afghanistan, wrote a letter to the couple that was read by Dave Greear, Campus Light Pastor at West Virginia University.

A reception was held immediately after the ceremony in the church fellowship hall. Cody McPherson served as master of ceremonies.

After a honeymoon in Florida, the couple resides in Lexington Park, Md.
