Stacy Anne Fuchs of Westerville, Ohio and Roy Alonso of Hilliard, Ohio were united in marriage July 3, 2010. Msgr. John Cody performed the double ring ceremony at St. Christopher Parish, Grandview, Ohio.
The bride is the daughter of David E. and Michele Fuchs of Westerville and the late Linda Diane Fuchs of Parkersburg. She is the granddaughter of Charles and Freda Fuchs of Parkersburg and Thelma Shumake, also of Parkersburg. She earned a bachelor's in elementary education from West Virginia University at Parkersburg and a master's in education with a reading endorsement from Otterbein University. She is employed at Westerville South High School.
The groom is the son of the late Reinaldo and Miriam Alonso. He is the grandson of the late Felix and Estrella Alonso and the late Jose and Estrella Rodriguez. He is president of Cardinal Transportation, Ltd. in Columbus,.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a one-piece, full A-line, corset-back gown of empress taffeta, softly gathered asymmetrically at the waist and ruched into the side seam. The asymmetrical overskirt was accented with the placement of three handmade taffeta rosettes, and set off with embroidery ornamenting the bodice and waistline as well. She wore her late great-grandmother Luta Johnson's antique gold bracelet and carried a round, hand-tied bouquet of white lilies, white roses, tuck in gardenias and stephanotis, white Queen Anne's lace and white oncidium orchids, finished with tuxedo wrap pearl studs, including a picture locket of her late mother.
The maid of honor was Sarah Detrick of New Albany, Ohio, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Miriam Bartels of Hilliard, sister of the groom; Casey Fuchs of Powell, Ohio, sister-in-law of the bride; and Candi Crain of Westerville, friend of the bride.
The bridesmaids wore teal tea-length strapless gowns with ruching at the bodice and carried round hand-tied bouquets of yellow freesia, white lilies and yellow oncidium dropping tuxedo wrap finish with silver cording and pearl design.
The flower girl was Isabel Bartels of Hilliard, niece of the groom.
The best man was Felix Alonso of Hilliard, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Reinaldo Alonso of West Palm Beach, Fla., brother of the groom; Jason Fuchs of Powell, brother of the bride; and Andrew Alonso of West Palm Beach, Fla., godson and nephew of the groom. The ushers were Bob Merry and Jamey Rismiller, friends of the groom. The ring bearer was Camden Bartels of Hilliard, godson and nephew of the groom. Special music, including "Ava Maria," was sung by the best man.
A reception was held at Heritage Country Club in Hilliard.
After a honeymoon in Hilton Head, S.C., followed by a cruise to Puerto Rico, Saint Maartin and Saint Thomas Caribbean Islands, the couple reside in Columbus.
