Marnie Beardmore Roberts and Rob Miller were united in marriage on Oct. 1, 2010, outside of Marietta. Alvin Roberts officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Joan Beardmore of Fleming and the late Dan Beardmore. She is the granddaughter of Janet Beardmore and the late Lawrence Beardmore and the late Carl and Nellie Riggenbach. She is a graduate of Warren High School, Capital University and Central Michigan University. She is employed by the Graduate College at Ohio University.
The bridegroom is the son of Russell and Sharon Miller of Marietta. He is a graduate of Marietta High School and attended Hocking College. He is the owner of Pens By Rob.

The bride wore a strapless satin ivory gown with pleats along the top of the dress. The back of the A-line dress was adorned with buttons and a bow. The bride wore a tiara and fingertip veil. She carried a bouquet of autumn flowers with blue butterflies. She was escorted by her nephews, Corey Lewis and Nathan Lewis.
The bridegroom wore a black suit with a black tie. He was escorted by his daughter, Kristy Miller. She wore a brown and gold dress and carried a pomander ball of autumn flowers with blue butterflies.
Travis Wells, friend of the groom, sang with his acoustic guitar.
A reception with dinner and dancing was held Oct. 2 at the Marietta Country Club.
After a honeymoon in Amish Country, the family resides outside of Marietta.
