Paul L. Milhoan Sr., 83, of St. Marys, passed away May 15, 2010, at Ohio Valley Health Care Center.
He was born July 29, 1926, in Wood County, a son of the late Richard A. and Lulu M. McCullough Milhoan.
He was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and was a U.S. Army veteran having served from 1944 to 1948. He was a member of First Baptist Church of St. Marys, he enjoyed woodworking and retired from Union Carbide as a pipefitter.
Surviving are two sons, Paul L. Milhoan Jr. (Linda) of Vienna and Mark A. Milhoan (Joanne) of Birmingham, Ala.; one daughter, Rebecca L. (Jack) Spicer of Cumming, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Jasen Milhoan, Michelle Leeson, Stewart Milhoan, Patrick Milhoan, Sarah Hall, Ethan Cunningham, Kristen Pack and Brittany Milhoan; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill (Wilda) Milhoan of Williamstown; one sister, Ila Nutter of Parkersburg; two nieces; and four nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita M. Naylor Milhoan in December of 2009; an infant brother; and two sisters, Ruth Grimm and Lois Milhoan.
The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kimes Funeral Home, 521 Fifth St., Parkersburg. Pastor John Strimer will officiate and burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens with military rites conducted by American Legion Post 15. The visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday.
