Louise M. Culina, 85, of Vienna, passed away March 26, 2010, at the Willows Center.
She was born in Wuppenau, Switzerland, on July 20, 1924, a daughter of the late Ernest and Louisa Villager Kunzle.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She retired as manager from A.T&T in 1983, and had worked in a B-24 war plant during World War II.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Catherine and Michael Mutz of Vienna; two grandchildren, M. Eric Mutz of Parkersburg and Marie Seitz and her husband Robert of Cincinnati, Ohio; one brother, Ernest Kunzle of Maplewood, N.J.; one son-in-law and his wife, Floyd and Sue Shimalla of Apalachin, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank P. Culina; a daughter, Marie Shimalla; three grandchildren, Christine, Ann and Steven Shimalla; and one brother, Paul Kunzle.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 10 a.m. at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Father Eric Hall and Deacon Jim Kelly as celebrants. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery, Parkersburg. Visitation Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with a wake service at 7:30 p.m.
