Thirteen must be the magic number that must be reached to garner main street media attention to black on black gang shooting. Obama's legacy coming soon to a street near you.

Where are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton ministering to the people of Chicago. They never get upset about "black on black" crime. such involvement must not do much for fundraising. Why are the news media not calling them on this ??

Why is a 3 year old at a park, apparently in a dangerous area of Chicago (is there a safe one?), at 10pm at night?

Aaron: "Never let a crisis go to waste." This tragedy doesn't come close to being a crisis in Chicago. Just like Syria should be handled, They leave them alone, killing each other, till there is only a few left, then send in the cops.

As shown in these comments, some of the residents WV once again demonstrate why our state is the punch line of jokes. There may be a few stupider states in the Union but not many...

"Obama's legacy coming soon to a street near you."

What does this shooting have ANYTHING to do with Obama? And whatever legacy you are imagining, its been 5 years...it's already here, so get use to it.

Chicago is his hometown. Chicago style politics is why he is where he is. Homeboys brought to DC got us where we are. Emanuel is the mayor that promised to do something about the street crime and he has failed miserably.That is what Obama has to do with it.

Unfortunately Obama is not done yet so his legacy is not finished, but we as Americans might well be. Make excuses if you're feeling guilty but I have nothing to feel guilty about His future for America is part time jobs at minimum wages and his backers parade this as recovery. I fear for the future of this country as I never have before. The vermin and cockroaches that infest the White House must feel right at home.

@RANDOM21- "Chicago is his hometown."

Hillary Clinton, John Ashcroft was born there too. Donald Rumsfeld was born 12 miles from Chicago. Is it their fault as well?

Yeah RANDOM21, none of the ills of the nation happened before Obama came to power. There was no part time labor and everyone had enough money to get their own insurance. Things were so much better.

It's amazing that a nation like ours has only one leader....the President. The founders should have had the insight to put more power in a group of elected officials instead of the executive branch. Darn...why didn't they do that?

There were ten more shootings in Chicago yesterday, 3 of them fatal. Chicago is the murder capital of the US. This shooting made the news because the shooter may have used a "military Styled rifle" as the weapon but they are going by shell casings and not the actual weapon. "Military style weapon" is the new media buzz words used instead of "assault Rifle". The weapon is the reason for the "breaking news" treatment not the fact of the shootings itself. It's all about the agenda of the left not the victims.

A society of skill lacking, uneducated, unemployable, drug dealing, irresponsible, baby making, criminal minded, immature, fatherless rearing youths in this country seek respect where they can only find in being a part of rival gangs creating a dangerous atmosphere among law abiding citizens. These youths do not care about the killings of innocents,only obtaining respect from the gang leadership they were unable to get in a one party family where the father is absent. This has replaced the civil obedient youth societies existing 3 or 4 decades ago.

With the exception of President Clinton, President Reagan was the most effective leader in the U.S. since President Nixon. Of course, the most effective U.S President in my lifetime,with the exception of President Franklin Roosevelt was President Harry Truman.

Obama belongs to the Chicago Political Machine and the power it wields. It gave him the ability to keep his past sequestered while exploiting the sealed records of his opponents. It is amazing the ability to keep his records protected given the amount of hacking there is today. Maybe no records exist, the true Manchurian candidate.It's the Chicago Machine that works so well for Obama, and he took the Machine to the White House with him.
