I am truly grateful that the teachers and school system want to children to read more, after all, reading begats knowledge but come on. How can something so simple become so complicated. If they truly intended for this to happen, why didn't they attach instructions to the students last report card? Every parent should be looking at those.

And I am also truly grateful for the amount of time and effort the extraordinary volunteers have put into Stadium Field but the ones overseeing this issue need some serious tongue-lashing. The job was horribly under bid just to secure the job and then they beg and beg and beg for more money. How on earth can the price be that much higher? One week, we are told it is impossible to have it ready during this millenium and the next week it will be completed by mid-September. Make up my mind folks.
