And since we're alresdy off topic, What politically motivated case did Darrell McGraw have that involved something that was in another state? "AaronS" You're the one that said he did and said he did numerous times and since he was in office 20 years! It shouldn't be to hard to find just one.

If Morrisey was a Democrat he would be doing what he was elected to do, which is look out for the people of WEST VIRGINA! Google "Disabled workers paid just pennies an hour" Like I wrote, Why isn't Morrisey looking into that? "You know they do have those places in West Virgina" Instead of worrying about if somebody is praying before a legislative session in a town in NEW YORK!!

If Morrisey were the one petitioning the court Denver you might have a point. As all he's doing is filing a friend of the court brief, his 'monumental' effort is one lawyer drafting a paper that essentially says "We understand this has the potential to affect West Virginia entities and we agree with the Town Board of Greece, NY" meaning as usual, you're clueless.

Everyone knows that if Morrisey were a democrat, you would have no problem supporting the suit which his just sad.

"AaronS" this article is not about asking the High Court to overturn a ruling by the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in New York! If it was why did it start out, "West Virginia's (Republican) attorney general, if it was about asking the High Court to overturn a ruling it would have started "West Virginia's attorney general.

As for the ruling by the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in New York, it was the right one! That's why I wrote in very first comment to this article "What a monumental "WASTE" of government resources and taxpayer dollars." Which by the way 11 people disagreed with

Do you agree with the 2nd's ruling or not Denver, with reasons.

Or do you have the cognitive ability to make such a determination?

"AaronS" in case you missed it, the article is about West Virginia’s republican attorney general! Read the first sentence in this article.

What I think DA is that I addressed your comments before you made them. The funny thing is, I think this is a frivolous waste of taxpayers money based on the outcome but instead f agreeing with me, you post asinine comments based in ignorance and have changed the topic of the conversation.

Do you seriously wonder why you are not a credible poster?

To show you what kind of attorney general we now have in West Virgina! Google: "Morrisey inaugural took money from pain pill distributor involved in AG lawsuit"

"AaronS" you don't think Morrisey, asking the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a decision that said praying before a legislative session by a town in NEW YORK violated separation of church and state, is political? And you say I need to educate myself

Looks to me like Morrisey needs to educate himself, like what the job of attorney general of WEST VIRGINA is and what he was elected to do! Don't you think?

I stated factually that McGraw filed similar suits during his time as AG when you falsely implied that Morrisey was acting beyond his responsibilities. I agree he could be pursuing other interesd but unlike you, I don't believe the cases should be based on politics.

As for the New York case, I get that you likely do not comprehend that it will have implications in WV which is why you keep maki g such statements but if you would educate yourself you would see it does affect WV'ians.

Here is what Morrisey should be doing, but he's too busy playing politics. Google 'Disabled workers paid just pennies an hour!

Why isn't he looking into that? Instead of worrying about if somebody is praying before a legislative session in a town in NEW YORK!!

Who bought up Darrell McGraw?

I'm sure I could find one if I chose to Denver as its a legitimate function of the AG's office. Even he merits of the case are somewhat sound as the practice of opening a legislative session does indeed have a long and cherished history.

My points are three-fold.

1) Most who support this would not approve other religions prayers.

2) should this case reach the Supreme Court, it will fail due to separation issues.

3) to correct the inaccurate statement that America is a Christian nation.

Your comments add nothing to the conversation, are based in ignorance meant to promote your partisan agenda and I will not get into a discussion regarding the illegal actions of our former AG of whom you support SOLEY because of his political affiliation.

If you want to participate in the discussion, at least educate yourself on the facts and attempt to bring a smidgion of intelligence to the topic.

Here is another question to ponder! What has West Virginia’s republican attorney general done for the state of West Virginia since being elected to office in November?

22 other "republican" States! "AaronS" can you name one case Darrell McGraw had like this?

As wrong as those who support this case are Denver, you're not helping the argument with inane comments meant to inflame the argument. If you had read the argument, the AG has joined 22 other states regarding a ruling of a federal appellate court that could potentially affect West Virginians. It's a common practice, one of the primary responsibilities of the AG's office and one Darrell McGraw engaged in numerous times. To those who do not have a partisan agenda, they will recall that many of the awards he illegally misplaced came from such settlements.

And here is something to think about! What business does "WEST VIRGINIA'S (republican) attorney general have with a town in New York? Shouldn't he be concerned with what goes on in West Virginia? That's what he was elected to do, you know
