Two years ago, the fire department spent just under $150,000 on a driving simulator in an attempt to reduce the number of accidents ocurring within the department. I would be curious to know if the FD has been able to see any positive results from this purchase as it is my understanding the simulator is rarely used and the number of accidents has actually increased.
