When it's not YOUR money, does it matter? Guess not,but mayhaps Pickering will give out some umbrellas adorned with their logo to students this year.

Pickering Associates estimated the job, striped the stadium. Now the estimate increases 25% to put it back together.I do not want them doing any estimating for my jobs. Just my opinion.

How about we drop the sale of the 'naming rights' before one of the mayor's gambling buddies decides the stadium should be called 'City Perk Field' or 'Big Reds Always Hot' or something stupid like that.

The GAMES must go on; to He!! with the academic part of school. Bet if the spelling bee had to have a place, not ONE would have moved heaven and earth, since it's not chasing after a ball like a trained dog.SAD!!

If we had a state or locally chartered bank like the Bank of North Dakota, we would NEVER have a need to get loans from private banks. This project would have also been fully funded through a chartered bank. The bank simply loans out the money at cost or with an extremely low interest rate for the good of the people and is then paid back the loan over time.

Maybe P-burg doesn't have the tax base to support 2 high schools anymore. Hoping for "an entity" to whip out a checkbook is poor planning and arrogance. I would like "an entity" to help me out too. Fat chance...Maybe there would be more chance of "an entity" coming forward if some of these "city officials" proposed to name the stadium for the "entity," in return for a sizable donation.

I don't know the reason for the .5 million cost overrun.

Retrofit projects are difficult to estimate and I'm sure the contract spells out the conditions for the added cost.

If you ever remodeled a kitchen or a historical building your understand.

Imagine that, who would have thought it might end up costing more than estimated..
