"Taxpayers Bridge" would probably be a more appropriate name for the structure.

Ridiculous! Anyway they can think of to waste tax payer dollars. Geesh! Just leave the bridge and its signage the way they are for crying out loud!

I hereby nominate either of the two following individuals who have yet to receive adequate recognition for their sacrifice: Army Spc. Ernie Sutphin, 21, a Parkersburg native, died March 18, 2004, from injuries sustained a week earlier when a homemade land mine exploded beneath his Humvee on a road near Baghdad. Marine Lance Cpl. Joshua S. Wilfong, 22, of Walker, W.Va., was killed April 30, 2004, in fighting near Fallujah, Iraq.

Great idea Geezer - my daughter went to school with Ernie, said he was a very nice boy. Honor those who gave all - honoring politicians is like honoring those who 'took' all.

Jealous people. Larry worked hard for the people he represented. A great man and a small way to remember him. Cost $0.00, just a sign. He loved God and his family. He loved our troops and the people he "served". He gave his life to see that we got what we should have, to be heard! Thank you Anna for carrying on the service he started.

You jacklegs that sit around and complain about everything daily, and really do nothing about anything must have missed the article a couple of days ago. A memorial monument is being built in the park for local soldiers killed in duty. I know you were to busy pointing out things that didnt benefit you. I would like to see one of you cowards come from behind the safety of your computer screen and tell a family member what you typed on here. My guess is you would probably want to name the bridge after that goofball from the buckwild show that passed away.
