Why doesnt the BOE worry about all the bullying going on in the schools instead of dance moves. Bullying is so much more of a problem than this. Would you (BOE) get your priorities straight???

The kids are in school to learn not to dance some trash filled moves...if a teacher is involved then they should be fired...sounds like PHS has run amok...maybe they should put the teacher filming this in a box....

This article raises more questions than it answers. What exactly was done wrong? Was it very suggestive dancing? Don't they have reading and math to teach?

This is something to get excited about? It's a stupid dance video? Chil out people. In a year or two the majority of the kids involved will either be welfare moms, in prison or a half way house. For most of them this will be the closest they ever get to experiencing doing some actual work. This may also be their only taste of fame or success. Let them have their 15 minutes. There are more important things going on to worry about!

Let's call this video what it is-another glowing Asperger's Disorder Success Story! Try and guess how many kids in the video are on medication for behavior/emotional issues? These are the results when you pump kids full of meds they don't need people!

You know janeeyre I am sure God will never bless you with a special needs child---you obviously would bully the poor kid. This video was probably joks celebrating their $700,000 win.

The real tragedy is this is the MOST POSITIVE story about PHS to make it in the news in years!

This was mildly entertaining. Had the inappropriateness been left out, it would have maybe been ok if it wasn't done on school property during regular school hours. The Teacher has a lot of explaining to do. Maybe the Drama Class could make a video showing the correct way to do it, so it is decent and acceptable; and something they could show their grandmother and be proud of.

that's not the teacher. And do you honestly think that the kids have no idea what these actions mean? They're kids, they're sexually active and find this funny. Get off your high horse and laugh a little bit

There was no guidance from the teacher to the students on how they should perform during the video. Also, the teacher was not in his underwear. Statements like these are how lighthearted acts are made into lawsuits. The video portrays the students acting JUST like the kids that they are. Parents are naive if they believe this type of provocative dancing does not happen at school dances. If the teacher is responsible for controlling his students dance style then further action should be taken to ensure this will also be controlled at other events. There are bigger battles to tackle, but this is not one of them.

The video was inappropriate, yes. Should the teacher be disciplined? Yes. But should a federal case be made out of it? In my opinion, no. Let's concentrate on important issues!

I've actually had an account on here for 6 years. Some of us don't spend our lives on here commenting on every story they post.

My Two Cents For some it might make them feel better to believe this is average behavior for teens—but in my experience, this is not the norm for most young adults. If the filming had happened off campus and only teens were involved then it would just be crude--and I think sad. For it to happen on campus and to have a teacher involved makes it highly inappropriate and could very well be grounds for dismissal. (I don’t know all the facts) However, I can say that I would not feel comfortable having a son or daughter in this teacher’s class and would make sure they were not placed there. Here is the video – make up your own mind.

Having seen the video.....the fact that a teacher allowed it on school property ---yes he should be fired. Period.

showbuch you obviously don't have any teens now and evidently you haven't for a while or if you do your kids are putting on a good show for you and pretending to be the "perfect" kid

Why not take the video down and then post it on a pay-per-view site to generate revenue to fix the stadium?

buckeyefan21 This is the problem... These kids should all be punished for the crude acts they are doing in this video. The teacher should have never allowed this to happen and should not be included (behind the scenes or not) in this type of activity when these are all kids! Most of the Shake videos I have seen are in mostly good taste but this one went a bit far... I know for a fact that there are under age kids in this video!

ok so what about all of the other videos that happened at other schools including PSHS? Same "dance moves" but yet no one is throwing a fit about it and the teacher was involved in that one as well.
