Education begins at home where parents understand they have the responsible to assure their children are well educated. The education system teachers has a role, but mom and dad has to teach their kids character before they enter school.

Exactly right hannah. Hardly any of those kids will go on to play sports professionaly - while they will ALL need to read, write and be able to do math. I remember teachers putting out buckets to catch rain water over 20 years ago - apparently they are still using those buckets. The board is a pathetic caretaker of our children.

Is there any way that the Board of Education's recent action on providing funding for PHS Stadium repairs can be rescinded or blocked? Schools themselves and their upkeep should be a higher priority than stadiums. What were they thinking or were they thinking at all?
