Its such a shame for the seniors, especially two years ago when they could have had one of the greatest coaches in Belpre history, Joe Garrett. This Thornhill is a joke. The way he treated his players throughout the season should be a crime. Even his assistant coaches disliked the way he degraded and humiliated many of these fine young men. There are many issues with this Thornhill guy that will surface in the days to come. I hope the Board of Education sees the light and finds someone else that will finally do this program some good. This team was full of talent it just lacked one thing, LEADERSHIP from its head coach. Way to go Belpre, you did it again.

I agree Franks, he has a VERY shaddy background. A parent stuck his nose in or we would have had Coach Garret. And everyone knows that Thornhill's assistants are the real brains behind the show. Glad to hear AD is retiring, maybe now we can get some teachers that coach who have integrity instead of of many of our head coaches (i.e. football, volleyball, boys basketball).

The most troubling fact of this entire situation is that he doesn't chew Big Red gum... and we all know what Ricky Bobby says about people who dont chew big red gum...
