Geezer is absolutely correct. They lost a contract with Meijer-unions had nothing to do with it. Dean Foods is making a large profit-they tried to raise their profit more at Meijer's expense and Meijer's responded with a "seeya" and contracted with another less greedy company. And no, I don't belong to a union.

Broughton jugs tend to drip. Need to get over a sink when trying to pour into a glass, if the jug is more than half full. I avoid them whenever I can find another brand. Surprised they haven't lost more business than they have. I don't know what house brand is involved, haven't encountered the drip problem w/ any house brand.

Dean Foods lost the Meijer contract in late 2012 due to pricing issues. Several locations, i.e. Evart MI are already shutting down. Do a google search on 'Dean Foods closing dairies' for more detailed information. Good luck to Broughton's employees.
