If the Republicans would try to solve problems instead of trying defeat President Obama maybe some solutions and progress would be made to reduce the deficit. As long as the Republicans want to push the stick in President Obama's eye little headway will be made regarding the national budget/deficit. President Obama won the election...Republicans need to*****it up and put their "big girl dress on" and deal with it...as an adult!

The economy is recovering slowly. Deficits are beginning to go in the right direction. But we are a long way from where we need to be. The deficits had been increasing at alarming rates almost from the day that George W. Bush stepped into office. He and a republican controlled congress sent us into two wars and implemented tax cuts.

It would be the equivalent of getting a pay cut, your spouse gets laid off so you increase your children's allowance, buy a new car and take a family vacation to EuroDisney for 2 weeks.
