What a complete and total psychopath! He allegedly went there to catch his daughter's boyfriend cheating? What kind of father does such a thing. If it were my daughter, I would have said, "If you strongly suspect he may be cheating then he isn't worth it. Don't go looking for trouble!"
And that is exactly what he did, went looking for trouble. He knew he intended violence, that's why he took his knife! Lock him up and throw away the key!! Let's just hope his offspring doesn't share his penchant for violence.
