Eddy heads South candidates

Would be great to get a former South player that knows the game as the coach. Dave Foggin is already a teacher at the school....the kids like/know him and he would work these kids in the fundamentals of the game and put South back on top where we belong. Look inside our school.....not across the river. Poe is headlining his favorite as usual.

How can Eddy lead the candidates when there supposedly have been NO interviews yet? After seeing this article why would any quality candidate want to interview for the job? How can he be guaranteed a job when teachers will be riffed at the end of the year? If he has been guaranteed a job then I guess all those riffed teachers can breathe a sigh of relief that they will also have jobs.

It has to go to a current teacher in Wood County since they applied. Those are the only ones that should be interviewed according to what the BOE stated when PHS hired their coach.

Why is Dave Poe promoting Steve Eddy already, that's crap. the best qualified is Boyles. How many others have played and tutored under coaching legends. I know for a fact that some of Boyles' former high school players are in the NFL. If it doesn't go to a current teacher, he's the obvious choice.....

Eddy would be a great hire. That said- the BOE said that PHS couldn't hire anyone else when they hired Reeves because no one else was a county employee when the job was posted. (that was their cover story) Eddy wasn't a county employee when the job was posted, but current teachers applied. Let's see how this goes. Again, Eddy would be the best choice. Just interested to see how the rules are manipulated for this one.
