if i had to take a wild guess, i would say it probably involved a SERPA holster. those holsters are very dangerous for certain guns, like 1911's and glocks. they have a button you have to push to release the gun, that sometimes may require you to push down on your gun , which in a 1911 disengages the grip safety, and then a lot of people curl their finger while pushing the button down which then goes through the trigger guard upon withdrawl and ends up firing a round into a leg or foot if the gun doesnt have a manual safety, or a heavy trigger.

look up glock leg, serpa holsters, tex grebner.

The NRA would say, "SERPA holsters don't kill people, people kill people." :-)

Man at a gun show is accidentally shot. Some might call this ironic; others, however, might simply say that it is mother nature doing what she does best - trying to weed out stupid people through survival of the fittest. She stays real busy in WV.

i am not aware of anyone dying due to a holster malfunction. usually they just end up with a wicked leg piercing lol. i own a serpa, but my gun has a safety and a decocker. even with the safety off my first shot still has a 9lb trigger. heck we have had sheriffs here in the valley shoot themselves. most people just arent willing to learn the proper ways to use things, whether its a gun and holster, or a ******* with a chainsaw.
