I seen on WTAP where "American Electric Power wants to make its customers pick up the $61.8 million tab for repairs resulting from last summer's severe storms."

I wonder if they will blame that on President Obama's "So Called War on Coal" when that forces electricity prices to go up?

It doesn't matter. Coal, like wood, is an energy source of the past. Automobiles (and homes) of the future will either run directly on natural gas or will be electric, recharging from a power plant which generates electric from natural gas. Our remaining coal deposits will be exported to Asian countries and others with poor environmental standards. Coal is dead.

I wonder? What if? What if the Coal Industry took ALL of the money it spent over the last fifteen years on Lobbyists, K-Street Lawyers, Political Campaign Contributions, and Media Advertising about "Clean Coal' and instead had spent that money of actually making "COAL CLEAN," how much more coal could we be using?

Realistically, we have right here several hundred years of fuel. Isn't it about time we figured out a way to use it without killing ourselves?

There is no "war on coal" it's a war on environmental destruction. Coal mine owners want you to believe their nonsense so they can make more money and spend less on workers' safety and environmental protection.
