Keep voting for TitleTown
The first full day of voting for TitleTown USA was chaotic and frustrating. Anyone involved with the voting Thursday afternoon around 3:30 p.m. or so stumbled upon the same problem. They couldn’t vote. Not to fear, things were eventually rectified and it appears all is back in order when it comes to Parkersburg going against 19 other cities to earn the moniker of ESPN’s TitleTown USA. Aside from not being able to get on the Web site for a period of time, which I estimated to be somewhere in the neighborhood of an hour, fans of certain teams also couldn’t vote for their favorite city. That’s because for a while on Thursday the city of Parkersburg and five others weren’t available options to potential voters. Evidently, the network had some issues with its server and while working out the kinks the last city on the list for which anyone could vote was Detroit. Votes for San Francisco, Williamsport, Pa.
