Honoring Our Veterans needs your help

The News and Sentinel is looking for stories and photos to honor area military veterans for their service.

We plan to publish a special section, entitled Honoring Our Veterans, on Veterans Day on Nov. 11 with stories about those who have served. To do so, we need your help.

We are asking readers to send us a photo of the veteran and information about the veterans and their service so we can include it in the special section. We know this area has a long and proud history of military service and we want to include in the section as many veterans as are submitted to the newspaper.

The newspaper hopes to make the section an annual event to pay tribute to those who have served their nation in uniform and put their lives on the line in defense of our country and our core values.
