A sign of things to come?

If I were President Barack Obama and the presidential seal fell off the lectern while I was speaker, I think it would give me a very ominous feeling.

Is the seal falling an indication of my presidency; is it predicting the midterm elections; or am I reading more into it and being too superstitious?, would be my thoughts if I were Obama.

Of course when it fell as he was speaking to Fortune magazine's "Most Powerful Women Summit on Tuesday at the Carnegie Mellon Auditorium in Washington, the president made light of it: "That's all right, all of you know who I am. But I'm sure there's somebody back there that's really nervous right now, don't you think?" referring to whoever attached the seal.
