Not a good week

First I had a tooth ache and couldn't get a dentist appointment for five days only to be told after the examination that the needed work could not be done on the two teeth causing me pain for 23 days. Not the way to start my week ... and the teeth still hurt!

I also went to have prescription sunglasses made at the place I've done business for nearly eight years and was told the price suddenly was $30 higher than I had been told a week before. After I canceled the order, a clerk telephoned to apologize for the error, but it was too little, too late.

Interestingly, I got new sunglasses and frames from a different place for $100 less than just the lenses would have cost me at the first place. Who says it doesn't pay to shop around?
