Hunting, fishing magazine to begin

The Mid-Ohio Valley Outdoor Times will launch in mid-April, but to make it successful, we need your help.

Local sportsmen have long suggested we expand our sports coverage to include photos of their hunting and fishing prizes.

Due to a lack of space, The News and Sentinel has been unable to include those photos, but now that is changing.

With the addition of a free, monthly Mid-Ohio Valley Outdoor Times, we have a home for those photos, but it's up to you to get them to us, along with pertinent information about who, what, when, where and how the prize was caught, trapped or shot.

Hunting and fishing is a huge activity in the Mid-Ohio Valley and we anticipate the new edition will be a huge success, but only if you make it one by sending us your photos and information.

Send your photos as a .jpg image to jsmith@OhioValleyOutdoors. com with descriptive information about the photo. But don't stop with just photos. If you have an idea for a news story or had an interesting experience in the outdoors you'd be willing to share with our readers, drop me an email about that, too.
